Mental Health Issues-Let’s Talk About It

Mental health has been and is being addressed as a public health concern and can impact how we function at work, school, within our families, and in our communities.  The stigma of mental illness needs to addressed so that people can feel free to talk about their mental health, reach out for help and help others.

I long for the day when at Starbucks one table will have people talking about their diabetes and another table will have people talking about their bipolar, and no one will stare or gossip at either.

First blog post

I am starting this weekly blog for inspiration and dialog about mental wellness and challenges.  Please feel free to comment or leave your thoughts as they are important to me.  After all we are all in this together and together we can offer each other support.
